Zayan Behl is a Grade 10 student at The British School in New Delhi, where he studies Extended Mathematics, Economics, Physics, History, Geography, Spanish, and English. Passionate about media and communications, Zayan aspires to pursue Media Studies in college. He is already taking steps toward this goal, having participated in the Entrepreneurship: Exploring What It Takes to Create Your Own Business course offered by the University of Southern California’s Pre-College Summer Program, and the Journalism and Media in the Digital Age course offered by Georgetown University’s Precollege Program.
At school, Zayan is an active member of co-curricular groups such as the F1 in Schools Club and the Model United Nations Club, where he continues to refine his public speaking and leadership skills. Outside the classroom, he is a dedicated athlete. He is currently training in boxing and is also a nationally ranked golfer with an impressive handicap of 5.
Through Project Dishoom, Zayan brings together his interests in sport, communication, and community empowerment to create an initiative that champions access, equity, and holistic education for underserved children.
